What God Does in a Worship Leader Before Sunday (The Green Room)

The microphone may amplify your voice, but it can’t transform your heart.

As worship leaders, we can spend hours preparing songs, rehearsing transitions, fixing arrangements, and making sure everything is ready for Sunday. But some of God’s most important preparation happens long before we ever step onto the platform.

Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

Before God works through the worship leader publicly, He wants to work in the worshiper privately.

In this episode, we talk about what God does in us Monday through Saturday—the unseen places of prayer, Scripture, surrender, obedience, and simply being with Jesus. Because our greatest preparation isn’t perfecting our production or performance. It’s abiding in Christ.

Before you lead another service, let Jesus lead you. Before you prepare another rehearsal, spend time in His presence. Before you pick up the microphone, give Him your heart.

Worship leaders aren’t built only on Sunday. They’re built in the quiet moments when nobody is watching.
